BHER, Minister Romano talks work-integrated learning

Ross Romano, Minister of Colleges and Universities, spoke with business and university leaders at a Business and Higher Education Roundtable (BHER) summit held at U of T this March. BHER brings together leaders from business and post-secondary institutions to develop co-ordinated strategies to expand opportunities to connect education and employment and deepen research and industry partnerships.  The University of Toronto is a co-founder of BHER, while President Meric Gertler currently serves as a co-chair

The summit was an opportunity for a national conversation and included an address from Paul Martin on the importance of an inclusive approach to work-integrated learning and post-secondary education, particularly for Indigenous students.
